So as many of you know, I have left England and moved back to the good ol’ US of A for good. My work visa expired so rather than be deported (no thanks), I’m back! But rather than hunker down and hibernate for the freezing Denver winter (again, no thanks), I went pretty much straight to visit San Francisco for the first time. And okay, if you are anything like me at all, you will LOVE that city. I met so many amazing people in the short three days I was there and did so many cool things, I would highly recommend it to any twenty- or thirty-something professional.
The weather was gorgeous and we definitely took advantage of it. Besides all of the amazing nightlife and restaurants of which I wish I had more time to do, I saw the Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito, the Full House House (the view from the park is awesome!), the Marina district including the Palace of Fine Arts, downtown, Pier 39 for the most gigantic crab feast of all time, and even managed to hitch a ride on a birthday party bus to Sonoma for a tour of two wineries. I even “learned” how to play Bocce ball and failed miserably. It’s okay though because I was drinking wine at a winery in Sonoma in 75º sunshine, so it didn’t matter 🙂
